TUESDAY, JUNE 9: Call President Obama at (202) 456-1111 and ask him to include H.R. 646 into the Healthcare Reform Act. This act will allow Medicare Part B members and Federal Employees to receive acupuncture care as part of their insurance benefits.
H.R. 646 or The Federal Acupuncture Coverage Act of 2009 would amend Title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for coverage of qualified acupuncturist services under part B of the Medicare program, and to amend Title 5, United States Code, to provide for coverage of such services under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program.
