Heart Health Made Simple
Here are some basic tips to take care of your heart:
1. Taking Conenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) not only boosts your cardiovascular health, it also provides gum health support. Buy good quality CoQ10 at your local health food store. CoQ10 is essential for those of you on cholesterol-reducing meds a.k.a. statin drugs since these medications actually deplete your body's store of this important coenzyme.
2. Reduce stress and anxiety. Do regular breathing exercises and/or meditation to create an overall calmer sense of being so that you handle stress better.
3. Exercise regularly at your own fitness level. Your heart is a muscle and needs to exercised by good cardio and/or yoga to help it stay in optimal shape.
4. Laugh. Laughter is the best medicine and regular laughter creates feel good hormones that help our bodies stay in balance and health.
5. For those who have actual heart conditions, make sure that you take care of yourself by seeing your physician appropriately. Also acupuncture is a great medicine that can support the heart especially those with Mitral Valve Prolapse.
