Acupuncture For Preventative Healthcare
A little known fact about Acupuncture is that it was originally designed to be a form of preventative medicine. In ancient China, patients would visit their local Acupuncturist seasonally in order to stay in good health and transition into the changes of each season. Patients would pay their Acupuncturist during the times that they were healthy and stop paying the Acupuncturist when they were sick.
This is a big change in the way healthcare is managed today. Unfortunately today, Acupuncture is a tool of last resort that people flock to after they have exhausted all other methods of healthcare. Acupuncture is an ideal form of preventative medicine because it is very safe and it helps to stimulate your own body’s innate ability to heal itself and keep your immunity strong.
Eco-Friendly Corner
Reduce your plastic water bottle waste by switching to glass bottles that you fill with filtered water (such as a Voss water bottle). Not only are you reducing the immense load on the landfills, you are also reducing the amount of petroleum used. Visit http://www.purewater2go.com/reduce.html to see the impact of your environmental load.

Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser
I just wanted to thank everyone who came out to the Rejuvenada Open House/Silent Auction for Cystic Fibrosis yesterday. It was a great opportunity to raise funds for CF. Many thanks to Linda Minke, cellist, who played some beautiful music throughout the day to entertain our visitors.
